This guide takes you from a new account to a sent package.
1

Create your account

Choose a plan at flowsign.app/pricing. When you finish, you land in the app at my.flowsign.app. Returning users sign in at my.flowsign.app/login.
2

Start a package

Select New Package in the sidebar. The form has these sections:
  • Documents: upload the files that need signing. PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and image files are accepted; see Document types.
  • Package details: a title recipients will recognise, and an optional description.
  • Recipients: the people who sign or receive the package, each with a name, an email address and an action (Signer, Viewer or CC). Turn on signing order if recipients must act one after another.
  • Custom fields: shown only when your organisation has custom fields that apply to the package.
  • Access: turn on Password protect signing if recipients must enter a password before the documents load.
  • Email & reminders: the invitation email and when recipients are reminded.
Recipients you have used before are offered from your contacts as you type.
3

Place fields

Select Continue to fields and drag fields onto the pages. Assign each field to a recipient. The field types are Signature, Initial, Date signed, Name, Email, Company, Title, Text, Number, Checkbox, Radio and Dropdown. Mark a field as required when the recipient must complete it before finishing.
4

Send

Send the package. Each Signer and Viewer receives an email with a private link to their session. Signers in a sequential package are emailed when it is their turn.
Once a recipient has opened a package it can no longer be edited. Void it and send a corrected copy instead.
5

Track and download

The package page shows each recipient’s session status (WAITING, ACTIVE, COMPLETED, DECLINED or CANCELLED) and the audit trail. When every recipient has finished, the package becomes COMPLETED, the finished documents and the certificate of completion are available from the package page, and CC recipients receive their copy.
