# Launch drafts

> Sends from a template you've started but not sent yet, single and bulk.

A **launch draft** is a [Send from template](/guides/templates/send-from-template) in progress. It is neither a template nor a package: nothing is created or sent until you send it.

## Saving

A draft is created once you change something after choosing the template and send type, and is saved automatically as you work. **Save draft**, in the main button's menu, saves straight away.

Sending consumes the draft. Only the person who started a draft can see it.

## The list

**Templates → Launch drafts** (`/templates/launch/drafts`) lists your launch drafts, single and bulk together. Each row shows its title, a **Single send** or **Bulk send** tag, the template, and when it was last edited.

* **Continue** reopens the draft at the step you left.
* The delete button removes it, after you confirm with **Delete draft**.

An empty list shows **No launch drafts**, with **Send from a template**.

## When the template changes

Saving a template that has launch drafts asks you to confirm (**Update this template?**), and lists the drafts that will be updated to match. If a template changed since a draft was saved, continuing the draft tells you to check your answers and recipients before you send. For a bulk send, **Template updated** shows what changed and what it means for your rows.
